Bio/Research

Dr. Anjum’s current research focuses on AI-driven Sensor Networks, mmWave Body Sensor Networks, 3D mobility modelling and percolation analysis (of coverage, connectivity, and reliability) of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) networks. Broadly, Dr. Anjum’s research area primarily concentrates on wireless communication, networking and IoT (Internet of Things). He has extensive research experience in the above-mentioned areas, including 3D random networks, balloon networks, body sensor networks, cognitive radio, wireless regional area networks and MIMO-OFDM.

Additionally, he has an academic research background in recurrent neural networks (RNN) based reservoir computing. Dr. Anjum’s research has involved collaborations with a large group of experts from different institutions funded by several notable sources such as the National Science Foundation, the US Air Force, the US Army, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, etc. This research has resulted in published book chapters, journals, conference papers, funds and awards.
