The Gupta lab, located at Toronto Metropolitan (formerly Ryerson), at the MaRS Discovery District Research Facility, is focused on defining mechanisms of rare diseases; including but not limited to Cystic Fibrosis and Polycystic Kidney Disease. Our lab uses proximity-dependent proteomics and high content microscopy to screen for critical protein associations that become affected upon mutation of a particular gene and when exposed to current front-line therapies. This lab has a longstanding interest and expertise in membrane trafficking, cytoskeletal organization, cell signalling, proximity proteomics, super-resolution microscopy, and quantitative analyses. We are a passionate group of researchers with diverse educational backgrounds and are looking to expand our team.
